CHELMSFORD CITY has confirmed that striker, Shaun Jeffers has left the club.
Jeffers netted 38 times during two spells at the Melbourne Community Stadium, appearing on 91 occasions for the Vanarama League South outfit either side of two seasons at Boreham Wood.
Speaking to www.chelmsfordcity.co.uk about the players’ departure, boss, Robbie Simpson, said: “Shaun is a top lad and scored some really important goals last season.
He’s a natural finisher and I’m sad to see him depart. Being based in Milton Keynes and with budget constraints, it just meant we were unable to offer a viable deal for Shaun at this time. We wish him every success.”
