Clay extends O’s stay

Leyton Orient midfielder, Craig Clay has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal with the Breyer Group Stadium outfit.

The move comes as a boost to the O’s, who recently appointed Kenny Jackett as their new manager with a genuine promotion challenge very much in mind for the popular East London club.

Clay has appeared 180 times for Orient including 43 during the last campaign. Speaking to on completing the deal, he enthused: “I’m buzzing. I’ve said it many times – this is a great Club.

“I’ve been here for four years now, and I’ve enjoyed every minute. I love this Club. I’m delighted that they’ve offered me another two years.

“I didn’t think about anything else. I was just delighted to snap their hand off.”
