Collision in Shoeburyness leaves cyclist injured

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Shoeburyness.

It was reported that a blue Hyundai collided with a pedal cyclist on Elm Road, at the junction with Hermes Way, at around 4.40pm on Tuesday January 18.

The vehicle did not stop at the scene.

The cyclist was taken to hospital where it was confirmed that his foot had been fractured.
