Comedy to catch at Queen’s

Catch Of The Day, presented by Red Fox Theatre and supported by house and Arts Council England, arrives at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch on October 3.

Based on an almost unbelievable true story, Catch Of The Day was developed with the community of Dingle’s support and the testimony of those who still remember that famous day.

Following an award-nominated run at Edinburgh Fringe, critically acclaimed shows in London and Oxford, and a sell-out Irish tour, Catch of The Day has been teaching audiences a little bit about Anglo-Irish relations in completely ridiculous ways since 2018.

In 1966 an ordinary skipper sails into Dingle Bay with a very unusual catch…

What follows is a ridiculous series of events, involving Eamon De Valera, The Queen and a bunch of nuns.

An unbelievable true story, Catch Of The Day is a riotous romp of a play.
