A PFCC public meeting due to be held in Waltham Abbey is being postponed following Government guidance on the coronavirus.

The event, hosted by Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, was going to be held at Waltham Abbey Town Hall on Tuesday, March 24.

If anyone has any concerns they wish to raise with the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner that cannot wait until the rescheduled meeting they can email [email protected]

Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, said: “It is important that we do follow the Government guidance and don’t put people at risk; as well as easing the burden on our emergency services colleagues who were due to attend the meeting.

“If people do have an urgent matter they can get in touch with me. However, please be assured that we will rearrange all of our scheduled public engagements that have to be postponed. We are also looking at hosting virtual public meetings on social media.
