Dagenham & Redbridge v Notts County – Preview:
DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE will have to pull out all the stops in order to take anything from their huge Vanarama National League clash with high-flying Notts County at Victoria Road on Saturday.
The Daggers have already been beaten twice by the Magpies this season, although new boss, Daryl McMahon was satisfied with his side’s display when they recently slipped to a 2-1 Buildbase FA Trophy defeat at Meadow Lane, thanks to an incredible late strike from Notts skipper, Michael Doyle.
Nevertheless, despite their improvement, Dagenham are without a win in nine National League matches – a run which has seen them slip dangerously close to the relegation places.
The Daggers were left kicking their heels when last weekends derby encounter at Barnet fell foul of the weather. However, the opportunity for rest coupled with the loan signing of Stevenage striker, Alex Reid, will hand McMahon’s charges renewed vigour ahead of what will be a tough challenge.
Jeevesie’s prediction: Dagenham & Redbridge 1-1 Notts County
