Yeovil Town 1-0 Dagenham & Redbridge
Dagenham & Redbridge were cruelly beaten at Huish Park as Yeovil Town snatched the Vanarama National League points right at the death.
It was an otherwise bright performance from the East Londoners, who went close through Matt Robinson Paul McCallum and George Saunders. Meanwhile, Rhys Murphy, Alex Bradley, and Reuben Reid were involved in the Glovers best moments during a hard-fought encounter.
But the Daggers were to slip to a second successive league defeat. Callum Reynold hauled down Reid and was given his marching orders – Substitute, Tom Knowles brilliantly curled home the resulting free-kick to hand the hosts’ their sixth home victory on the bounce.
The result left Dagenham in eighteenth place. They return to Vanarama National League action on Tuesday, March 2 when they take on Solihull Moors at the SportNation.bet Stadium (7pm).
