Dagenham & Redbridge slipped to a disappointing Vanarama National League defeat at Eastleigh with Joe Tomlinson netting twice from the penalty spot for the home side.
Earlier, Ryan Hill had opened the scoring Eastleigh, helping them on their way to a first win in seven outings.
Dean Rance and Mitch Brundle went close for the visitors, while Paul McCallum had an effort chalked off. The defeat leaves Dagenham in seventeenth place, six points above the dropzone.
