King’s Lynn Town v Dagenham & Redbridge – Vanarama National League – The Walk’s – Report
King’s Lynn Town 1-2 Dagenham & Redbridge
Dagenham & Redbridge maintained their impressive early-season Vanarama National League form with a hard-fought 2-1 win over King’s Lynn Town at The Walks.
Josh Walker opened the scoring for the Daggers shortly after the restart following good work from Myles Weston and George Sanders.
Weston doubled Dagenham’s lead in the closing stages, sending a crisp effort low into the corner of the hosts net. Although King’s Lynn pulled one back in stoppage-time when a deflected Junior Morias effort deceived Elliott Justham, the East Londoners held firm to secure their fourth win from five leaving them top of the table, ahead of Boreham Wood on goal difference.
Dagenham & Redbridge return to Vanarama National League action on Tuesday, September 14 when Weymouth are the visitors to the Chigwell Construction Stadium (7:45pm).
