Dagenham & Redbridge have bolstered their midfield options with the signing of Mohammed Sagaf.
Sagaf was released by Carlisle United at the conclusion of the last campaign, having appeared seventeen times for the Cumbrians.
Previously, the player enjoyed spells in the non-league game with North Greenford United, Letherhead, Waltham Forest, Barking and perhaps most notably, Braintree Town.
Speaking to www.daggers.co.uk, boss, Daryl McMahon, enthused: “Mo is experienced, has great energy and is a local lad.
“When I was at Macclesfield, we played against Carlisle last year and Mo was different class on the day. He’s the kind of player I think that we need moving forward, someone who is hungry to be successful.
“He will bring a lot of energy to the midfield, as well as having the ability to move the ball quickly and be tidy in possession. He’s a player that wants to play and improve and is a good character to have here at Dagenham.
“I think he will prove to be a really good signing for the football club.”
