Daggers use Solihull clash to celebrate Diversity Day

NATIONAL LEAGUE Dagenham & Redbridge – Backed by the BD Group – will be using their home fixture with Solihull Moors to celebrate Diversity Day.

The popular Victoria Road outfit has successfully staged ‘Daggers Against Racism’ events at home matches for the past ten years, in recognition of the social issues which have been highlighted both in football as well as society in general.

The club recognises that they are at the hub of a diverse and tolerant community and are keen to celebrate peoples differences and unite them, using football as a positive platform.

The BD Group is a professional service delivery company, offering a comprehensive range of asset-related solutions for businesses and schools, from construction, repairs and maintenance, through to cleaning, catering and the provision of fully serviced laboratory and office accommodation. Their support of the event will allow junior football supporters admission for as little as 99p, while adults can catch the action from £2:50.

The Daggers ‘Diversity Day’ will showcase many positive things going on in the borough, with further details available at https://www.daggers.co.uk/news/-M-ey36HFub6J7cf2O1v

A spokesperson from Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club explained: “With the generous support of the BD Group we will again be able to offer ridiculously cheap admission prices and there will still be many things to do around the stadium before the game.

“We, therefore, invite all sections of the community to come and experience live football and show that the Daggers welcome everyone.”
