West Ham United have confirmed that experienced defender, Craig Dawson will put pen to paper on a permanent deal with the London Stadium club come the end of the current campaign.
Dawson moved to the Hammers on loan from Sky Bet Championship outfit, Watford last October and has impressed at the heart of the back four as David Moyes’ men have pushed towards the Premier League’s top four.
The new deal will see the 32-year-old remain with teh East Londoners until the summer of 2023. Speaking to www.whufc.com, the players enthused: “Coming to West Ham has been a great move for myself, and it is a privilege to play for a Club with such rooted traditions.
“The squad has a real togetherness, team spirit and great quality. I’m excited for what my future at the Club may hold and the potential for what we as a Club can go on to achieve.”
