Southern Vipers won by 49 runs

The Sunrisers found themselves on the wrong end again as a stylish 89 from Vipers skipper, Georgia Adams, provided a solid foundation for victory at the Ageas Bowl.

Adams knock came off 108 balls and included ten boundaries as the home side were dismissed for 232. Charlie Dean chipped in with 39 – Katie Midwood taking 2/33 for the Sunrisers.

Early wickets ensured the visitors’ response never really gathered enough momentum to cause an upset. Jo Gardner top-scored with 39, while Alice MacLeod reached 35 – Tara Norris taking 3/37 as the Vipers confirmed their fourth win from as many Racheal Heyhoe Flint Trophy matches.
