WEST HAM UNITED continue to rebuild ahead of the new FA Women’s Super League campaign with the announcement that they have signed highly-rated left-sided defender, Maz Pacheco, from Reading.
The 21-year-old has represented England at youth and under 21 levels as well as making 25 appearances for the Royals during the last campaign.
Previously, the Ormskirk-born players represented Liverpool and Doncaster Belles – she arrives in easy London hot on the heels of Australian goalkeeper, Mackenzie Arnold.
Speaking to www.whufc.com about the move, Pacheco enthused: “I’m very excited to join West Ham.
“West Ham is a brand-new team that is still very much at the start of their journey, and I think that’s like I am as well.
“I really like the idea of growing together with the Club and giving everything I can for this shirt. With the players already here, it’s going to be a great group to be around and I can’t wait to get started.”
