Police will have a dispersal order in place in Basildon tomorrow, Friday November 8, to help tackle anti-social behaviour within the town centre.
The dispersal order will be in place between 9am and 6pm.
Shops and partners have been informed of the order, which gives officers the powers to move groups of people away from the area, and officers will be patrolling this area on foot.
It is a criminal offence to breach a direction given under a dispersal order and in the worst cases this can result in a criminal conviction punishable by up to six months imprisonment or a fine of up to £5,000.
