A Dispersal Order is in place in Basildon town centre following multiple reports of anti-social behaviour, public order and criminal damage offences this afternoon (October 21).
The order will remain in place until 5am Sunday October 22.
The order allows police officers and PCSOs to direct individuals to leave a location and to confiscate items which might be used to commit anti-social behaviour.
Two boys under the age of 16 have been arrested in connection with this disturbance.
