Distraction burglary in Vange

Police are appealing for information about a distraction burglary in Vange where an elderly woman had jewellery stolen.
Two men knocked at her home in High Road at around 11am on Wednesday September 25 and asked if any jobs needed doing at the address.
They spoke to a woman aged in her 70s and told her that her roof tiles needed repairing.
They were invited into the property where they stole jewellery worth a three-figure sum.
Both men were described as being white and aged in their mid-20s.
One of the men was descried as being of a slim build, around 5ft 7ins and had a red beard and moustache and the other was described as being 5ft 9ins and had black hair.
