Driver extradited to UK in connection with lorry deaths of Vietnamese nationals in Grays

An Irish lorry driver, wanted in connection with the deaths of 39 Vietnamese migrants in a lorry container discovered in Grays in October, has been extradited to the UK.
Eamonn Harrison, 23, from Mayobridge, County Down, faces 39 charges of manslaughter as well as conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration.
He is due to appear virtually at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Thursday July 23.
