Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a woman was racially abused on the A127 on Friday, May 8.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was driving towards Southend in a black Nissan Juke when she was side-by-side with the driver of a grey Mini.
They were between Rayleigh Weir and Progress Road when the driver began shouting racial abuse at the victim.
His car then pulled in front of the victim’s and continued in the direction of Shoeburyness.
The driver of the Mini was described as being white, aged in his 40s, and had a bald head. He spoke with a Newcastle accent and appeared short and of slim build. He wore a black polo shirt with a blue logo on it.
Anyone with information, who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage available, is asked to make contact with Southend’s Community Policing Team.
