Drivers injured in collision on Canvey Island

Police were called to a two-vehicle collision in Canvey Island at around 11.10am today.

Officers and ambulance attended the collision in Somnes Avenue.

The driver of a Range Rover – a man 40s – and the driver of a Vauxhall Mokka – a man 70s – have both been taken to hospital.

The younger man sustained a neck injury and the elderly man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
