E-fit released after burglary in Brentwood

E-fit of the intruder police wish to identify

Police have released an e-fit following a burglary in Brentwood where a couple found the suspect inside their home.

Officers received reports at around 2pm on Thursday July 30 about a burglary in Warley Mount.

The suspect escaped by garden hopping as a man and woman entered the front door.

The man, who is aged in his 70s, gave chase without success.

The suspect has been described as 5’9, in his mid-20s, unshaven and wearing a red baseball cap, a light blue top and blue jeans. He was carrying a black or purple bag.
