E-fit released after sexual assault in Shoeburyness

Police investigating a report of sexual assault in Shoeburyness have released an e-fit of a man they want to speak to.

Officers were called to Gunners Park at around 10am on October 17 following reports of a woman being assaulted.

The victim was walking through the park with her dog when she was approached by a man who grabbed her by the arms and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a white man, around 5ft 8in tall with short, white thinning hair. He was of a larger build and believed to be in his late 50s. He was wearing a blue coat/mac.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Shoeburyness area at the time to come forward. Please quote incident number 308 of October 17.
