E-fit released following watch theft on supermarket car park in Epping

Police have released an e-fit of a woman they want to speak to about an incident in Epping where a man was approached by a woman who distracted him and held his hand.

A short time later he discovered his watch was missing from his wrist.

The theft is reported to have happened in the Tesco car park, High Street, Epping, at around 10.30 am on Friday January 24.

The woman is described as in her 20s, of slim build with long brown hair and glasses. She spoke only briefly, with what is described as an east European accent. She was wearing a three-quarter length coat and scarf.
