Essex Eagles returned to Royal London One Day Cup winning ways by brushing aside old adversaries Kent Spitfires by nine wickets at the Cloudfm County Ground, Chelmsford.

Ryan ten Doeschate took 2/7, while Shane Snater, Ben Allison and Simon Harmer also claimed a brace as the visitors were dismissed for 158 – Munsey top-scoring for the visitors’ with 39.

Despite losing Will Buttleman to a ball from Matt Milnes which clipped leg, Essex made short work of the chase.
