Early Mullins strike ends Daggers unbeaten start

Wrexham v Dagenham & Redbridge – Vanarama National League – The Racecourse Ground – Report

Wrexham 1-0 Dagenham & Redbridge

An early strike from Wrexham’s Paul Mullins proved sufficient to see off Dagenham & Redbridge in a close-fought Vanarama National League encounter in front of a bumper crowd of more than 8,000 at the Racecourse Ground.

Mullins’ curling eight-minute strike handed the Welshmen the lead and set the tone for a half dominated by the home side.

Matt Robinson and Josh Walker went close for the Daggers after the restart. However, they slip to second as a result, a point behind Chesterfield, who won at Yeovil Town.
