Leyton Orient has confirmed that eleven of their squad will be leaving the club following the conclusion of the 2020/21 Sky bet League Two campaign.
Jobi McAnuff – overlooked for the vacant managerial post – announced his retirement from playing, while ten of the squad have been advised that they will not be offered new deals.
Connor Wilkinson heads a list of seven senior players offered new contracts at the Breyer Group Stadium, while Academy graduates, Rhys Byrne, Antony Papadopoulos and Matt Young have been handed their first professional deals.
The O’s are yet to appoint a new manager after interim boss McAnuff parted company with the club. However, whoever is offered the role will have his work cut out shaping a squad capable of challenging for promotion next season.
