Following the huge success of local teenager Isabel Clifton, who has been playing the role of ‘Hetty” in Hetty Feather, one of CBBC’s leading series for the past six years, CBBC has commisioned a one-off Christmas special to be shown on Thursday December 12 at 5.30pm.

This hour long special includes Niamh Elwell (Leigh) playing the role of Bertha, Charlie Wright (Laindon), Imogen Flint (Westcliff), Rebecca Argent (Leigh), Maddy Collins (Leigh), Hannah Page (Wickford) and Amelia Hennelly (Leigh) along with Hetty herself Isabel Clifton (Benfleet) who, along with Isabel, train at Singer Stage School in Leigh-on-Sea, headed by talent agent Sandra Singer.

Sandra said: I am so proud of all of the cast involved, they all went through a tough audition process and I am thrilled I was able to supply so many of them for this fantastic Christmas special.

“The final series of Hetty goes out next year, so it’s lovely to celebrate its success alongside the school’s recent 18th birthday.”
