Essex Police hunts arson gang who may have been burned during attack on Thurrock business

ESSEX Police is hunting for three arsonists who may have suffered injuries to their hands.

Police were called to Manor Road, Grays, last week after three men were seen throwing ‘a bottle full of accelerant’.

They threw the explosive device at a fence belonging to a business, which set the fence alight.

The incident occurred at about 1.45am on Tuesday, October 8.

In an appeal for information today, police said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or knows of anyone who suffered either burns or injuries to their hands.”

Police also want to hear from anyone who may have relevant dash cam footage.

Anyone with information was asked to dial 101, ask for Grays CID and quote crime reference 42/160315/19.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers completely anonymously on 0800 555111.
