A PEDESTRIAN suffered a ‘serious’ leg injury in a car accident in Thurrock last week.
Essex Police has appealed for witnesses to the incident in Tilbury on Friday, September 13.
A car reportedly collided with a pedestrian in Melba Gardens at around 3.45pm and failed to stop at the scene.
The pedestrian was a man in his 50s, who had to be hospitalised for his leg injury.
Police said they wanted to hear from anybody who witnessed the incident or who may have pertinent CCTV or dash cam footage.
Anyone with information was asked to dial 101 and quote ‘incident 844 of September 13’.
