A MAN walked into a Chelmsford supermarket and asked for help last night after suffering a ‘serious stab wound to the chest’, said Essex Police.
The man, in his 20s, has been hospitalised.
He walked into the supermarket on Springfield Road at around 7.40pm on Tuesday, November 26.
Police believe he had suffered the stab wound at the main entrance of the Walkabout bar in Springfield Road, where he had been drinking earlier in the evening.
Officers urge anybody with information about how he was injured to dial 101, ask for Chelmsford CID and quote reference number 42/187827/19.

*Police arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He is currently being questioned in police custody.
