Family pays tribute to motorcyclist killed in South Ockendon collision

The parents of a man who died after a collision in South Ockendon have paid tribute to their “loving and thoughtful” son.

Archie Knight, 19, died after the motorbike he was riding, a black Honda, collided with car in Stifford Road, South Ockendon, shortly before 1.40pm on Saturday April 10.

In a statement, Mr Knight’s family said: “Archie was a caring, loving and very thoughtful child.

“His larger than life character was loved by many and will be greatly missed.”

Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released under investigation.

Enquiries are ongoing and police continue to appeal for anyone with footage of the incident or further information.
