Forest School won the National Under 15s title with an exciting 55-run triumph over Stamford at Oakham School.

Forest’s Carter Ford produced a sublime batting performance, hitting an unbeaten 102 off 96 balls. His innings included no less than sixteen boundaries. Meanwhile, skipper, Jeevan Singh Kathuria contributed 48 from 35 as the East Londoners posted a competitive 239/4 from their 40 overs. Alex Green was the pick of the Stamford attack, returning bowling figures of two for 29 from his eight-over spell.

Jeevan then got to work with the ball, taking three Stamford wickets for 24. Meanwhile, Ayaan Malik and Adam Harif claimed two apiece.

Stamford captain, Raiffe Headley did his utmost, scoring 42, while both F Haynes and Green scored 27. However, their efforts proved fruitless as Forest romped to victory with twenty-three balls to spare.
