Frank’s back to boost U’s attack

Colchester United has confirmed that frontman Frank Nouble has returned to the JobServe Community Stadium on a two-year deal.

The one-time West Ham United man rejoined the club on a loan deal for the second half of the 2020/21 season, helping the U’s move clear of the Sky Bet League Two dropzone. The player had left North Essex to link up with Plymouth Argyle during the summer of 2020. However, the U’s were quick to secure his services following the conclusion of his contract with the Home Park club.

“Colchester United was always my first choice, Colchester will always be the closest to my heart,” he told

“I’ve still got that feeling that it’s unfinished business here.

“Coming back is something I’d always thought about. Don’t get me wrong, I was speaking to other clubs as well, had a few phone calls, but actions speak louder than words, and I’m here now and hopefully, I can be a success again.”
