Pablo Fornals smashed the home side ahead within two minutes, profitting from Ryan Fredericks toil down the left.
It was 2-0 just after the half-hour mark. Said Benrahma playing in Andriy Yamolenko, who in turn beat Ellery Balcombe in the Rovers goal with a neat finish.
At this stage, everything pointing towards the Hammers heading to Liverpool or Manchester United in round five.
