Half-time at the London Stadium…

West Ham United 1-2 Chelsea

The game has come to life. largely thanks to some ‘Dog and Duck’ defending from both sides.

Thiago Silva arrived unchallenged to head Chelsea in front following a Reece James flag-kick. However, the home side were level when Mendy and Jorginho got themselves into all sorts of bother – The former hauling down Jarrod Bowen – Manuel Lanzini netting the resulting spot-kick.

But Chelsea restored their earlier advantage when Mason Mount volleyed home after being afforded the run of the Hammers box.

Plenty still to come in this one.
