Wolves the better side but Spurs ahead at the break.

Steven Bergwijn fired Spurs ahead in the thirteenth minute – following up after Patricio had saved from Dele.

But Wolves responded just before the half-hour mark – Matt Doherty exposing Tottenham’s defensive frailties. 

However, the visitors were to be undone in the final minute of the half. Serge Aurier sending a left-footed, angled strike beyond Patricio, setting us up nicely for the second half.
