West Ham United v Wolverhampton Wanderers – Premier League – London Stadium – Reaction
West Ham United 3-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
There can’t be too many who are tactically critical of David Moyes after his side displayed attacking intent aplenty as Wolverhampton Wanderers were dispatched thanks to three unanswered goals at the London Stadium.
Mohammed Kudus continued to impress, scoring two first-half goals, while Jarrod Bowen completed the routine victory midway through the second half.
“It was a great first-half performance. Especially in the way we got after Wolves early,” the Scotsman enthused.
“We’ve not often been able to do it after Thursday night games, which is something we’ve talked about a bit, and I thought we were more aggressive with everything we did in the first part of the game. It led to a couple of really good goals.”
Moyes continued: “The quality of finishing was class.
“There were not easy chances, they were really difficult finishes and they were brilliantly done by Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.
“Lucas Paquetá got three assists today as well. The players we put in to give us the attacking threat really performed today.”
