Boreham Wood v West Ham United – Pre-Season Friendly Match – Meadow Park – Report

Boreham Wood 1-4 West Ham United 

West Ham United got their pre-season preparations underway with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Vanarama National League outfit Boreham Wood at Meadow Park.

The UEFA Europa Conference League winners took a two-goal lead into the interval. Danny Ings fired the East Londoners ahead before Kamarai Swyer profited from Pablo Fornals’ toil and powerfully head home a second on the stroke of half-time.

After the restart, Jarrod Bowen added a third from close range. Gideon Kodua scored the pick of the bunch three minutes from time.

Boreham Wood pulled one back when Hammers substitute goalkeeper Joe Anang spilt Femi Ilesanmi’s shot over the line in the final seconds.
