FCSB v West Ham United – UEFA Europa Conference League Group B – National Arena, Bucharest – Report

FCSB 0-3 West Ham United

A youthful West Ham United side provided their travelling supporters with a wonderful display, full of attacking intent, as FCSB were brushed aside by three unanswered goals in what was a one-sided UEFA Europa Conference League Group B encounter in the National Arena, Bucharest.

The East Londoners became the first side to progress from the competitions group stage with a 100 per cent record. Pablo Fornals set the ball rolling with a first-half opener on what was his 150th appearance for the club, and it was 2-0 just before the hour when talented teenager, Divin Mubama’s deflected header beat Târnovan in the home side’s goal.

Fornals rifled home his second and West Ham’s third to complete the rout. As well as Mubama, the Hammers handed debuts to Ollie Scarles, Kaelan Casey and Kamarai Swyer.
