COLCHESTER UNITED have bolstered their attacking options further with the signing of one-time loanee, Callum Harriott.
The 25-year-old winger enjoyed a successful spell with the north Essex outfit during the 2015/15 season, arriving for the first half of that campaign from Charlton Athletic.
Harriott returned to Charlton before linking up with Championship side, Reading on a three-year deal in 2016. However, after appearing just 30 times for the Royals, the south Londoners returns, subject to paperwork clearance.
A Guyanese international – Colchester will hope to have Harriot available for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Walsall at the JobServe Community Stadium (3pm).
