Hullbridge Sports have used the lockdown as a chance to keep busy on the transfer front. Prior to lockdown, both Michael Agboola and Courtney Homans completed their Bridge returns.
Now, with post lockdown season looming, Darren Manning has welcomed back yet another member of the Essex Senior League title-winning side with the return of Adebola Sotoyinbo or as he is better known as at Lower Road, ‘Olls’.
The forward arrives having spent some time at Great Wakering and was delighted to make his return to Lower Road, saying:
“When I got the phone call it was a no brainer really. Hearing about the direction in which the club is going, I just had to jump on board. With Darren as the manager, there was always a strong possibility of me coming back.”
He then added: “Now I’m back home ready to do what I do best which is scoring goals which will fire the club right up the table.”
The returning title-winner wasn’t the only signing to be announced by Hullbridge, either. Just hours prior, the Bridge announced an initial short-term loan deal for Braintree Town forward Romario Dunne.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Dunne said: “I’m really looking forward to my time at Hullbridge and working with some great people. I’ve heard really good things about the club, managers and players so I’m excited to get going.”
The two forward’s could make their debut in Hullbridge’s first game post lockdown against Maldon & Tiptree on December 12 when Darren Manning and co will be looking to mark a return to action with the all-important three points.
