Investigation continues into lorry crash on M25

Poiice are continuing to investigate a collision involving two lorries on the M25 near Thurrock yesterday, Saturday July 17.

They were called shortly before 2.30pm after a lorry collided with a stationary lorry near junction 30, heading towards the Dartford river crossing.

Firefighters freed one of the drivers, who had become trapped. The 38-year-old man from Grays was taken to hospital with broken wrists and a leg injury.

The road was closed while the man was freed and for the section of road to be cleared and repair work carried out.

Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage are asked to contact Chigwell Roads Policing Unit, quoting incident 816 of 17 July.
