Dagenham & Redbridge have been handed a huge boost with the news that goalkeeper Elliot Justham has put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension with the Vanarama National League outfit.
Regarded in some quarters as the best stopper in the division, Justham was crowned Player of the Year at the Chigwell Construction Stadium last season. He has appeared 160 times for the Daggers since arriving from Luton Town in 2016 – 43 of which came during the last campaign, including no less than sixteen clean sheets.
Justham’s new deal will keep him at the Chigwell Construction Stadium until June 2024. Speaking to www.daggers.co.uk, boss Daryl McMahon enthused: “We’re delighted that Elliot has signed an extension with us. We think he’s the best goalkeeper in the division, so for him to commit to us for so long is brilliant for all parties.
“Ell’s coming off the back of a brilliant season, and he’s a hugely important part of our plans to move forward as a club.”
