Popular goalkeeper Elliot Justham has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with Vanarama National League outfit Dagenham & Redbridge.

The 32-year-old stopper has made 275 appearances for the Daggers since arriving from Luton Town in 2016. The Dagenham-born players’ fresh deal includes a playable clause for a further year with the Chigwell Construction Stadium club.

Speaking to www.daggers.co.uk, boss Ben Stevens said: “Coming back into the football club I knew how good Ell was just watching him from afar.

“Getting the opportunity to work with him since I’ve been back here I’ve realised how much of an important person he is to have around the whole football club.

“Having Ell signed on was definitely one of my main priorities for the summer, so to get it done nice and early is a real bonus.

“He’s one of, if not, the best goalkeeper in the division and I am delighted to have the opportunity to continue to work with him in the future.”
