Kane at the double as Spurs make cup progress

Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion – Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – Report

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur overcame Brighton to earn a place in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The England skipper struck in the thirteenth minute, superbly bending the ball beyond Seagulls stopper, Robert Sanchez from distance, then put the icing on the cake with Tottenham’s third after Heung-Min Son’s had created an opening.

In between, Emerson Royal’s outrageous effort looped in off Solly March, while Bissouma’s deflected effort briefly gave Brighton hope.

Spurs now turn their attention to the Premier League where they will face Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, February 9 (7:45pm).
