Billericay Town’s busy day continues with the confirmation that former England defender, Paul Konchesky, had returned to New Lodge in an assistant manager’s capacity.
Konchesky was capped twice by the Three Lions during a career which saw him play at the highest level with the likes of Charlton Athletic, Liverpool, West Ham United, Fulham and Leicester City. The 39-year-old served the Blues in a playing capacity after arriving in 2016.
Speaking via his Twitter account, Konchesky enthused: “Really Looking forward to the challenge ahead.
“Thanks to Jamie O’Hara for the opportunity to come on board to assist him and thank you to all the board for making it happen. Can’t wait for the season to start.”
