Lawrence call into England’s ODI squad

Essex’s Dan Lawrence has been selected in England’s eighteen-man squad for the forthcoming Royal London Series with Pakistan, starting on Thursday at Sophia Gardens Cardiff.

The 23-year-old top-order batsman has been added to the party following COVID concerns within the England bio-bubble which has overseen several players and staff needing to self-isolate.

The England squad in full is as follows;

Ben Stokes (Durham – captain)
Jake Ball (Nottinghamshire)
Danny Briggs (Warwickshire)
