A Leigh-on-Sea business has donated 10,000 face masks to help keep healthcare staff safer during the COVID-19 crisis.
Insert Coin, based in Progress Road, has started sending the equipment to Southend University Hospital and Essex County Council care homes from today, April 20.
Dan Long, head of comms at the company, which creates apparel and accessories for video games, said: “We are incredibly proud of the amazing work NHS staff at Southend University Hospital are doing to protect and care for the community.
“We wanted to give something back and help support them to do their work as safely as possible.”
