Half-centuries from George Thurlow, Jake McMullen and Matthew Wagstaff helped Leigh On Sea to a seven-wicket victory at Benfleet.

Thurlow hit 51 and McMullen 64, while Wagstaff was unbeaten on 61 as the visitors eased home inside thirty-nine overs. 

Earlier, Fayaz Khan Nasseri had impressed with teh bat for the home side, scoring 77. Tim Knox returned figures of four for 49 as relegation-haunted Leigh closed the gap on those above them to two points.
