Lita departs Chelmsford City

MUCH-TRAVELLED STRIKER Lerot Lita has left Vanarama National League outfit, Chelmsford City.

The 35-year-old frontman had gleaned a wealth of experience in the Premier League and EFL, notable with Bristol City, Reading and Middlesbrough as well as scoring six times in nine appearances for England’s under 21 team. 

He arrived at the Melbourne Community Stadium in November last year, netting twice in fourteen matches.

Speaking to about the players’ departure, manager, Robbie Simpson, explained: “Leroy’s experience was vital after the change in management and I thank him for that and I wish him well in his next move.”
